MatchHome is another product of Matchmo Philippines - a real estate agency company that provides a platform for property owners and buyers to connect. Here, I am the lead engineer of our new product MatchHome, which is a property listing site where we help home buyers find their dream property that matches their lifestyle, income, location, and more.

I am responsible for the overall architecture of the project. I lead the team in building the frontend and backend code, ensuring its quality and reliability, and keeping our deliverables on track with our timeline.

Full Stack Developer

@New Stars Inc.

April 17, 2023 - November 15, 2023

News Stars Inc. is a legal Offshore Gaming Operations company. They also have marketing and advertising solutions for their clients. I was hired originally as ReactJs Developer, but later worked on the backend side of the project using the Go programmng language or Golang.

Here, I was involved in building the company's main backoffice system for both frontend and backend.

That was my first time to use Golang in a real project. I was able to learn the language and its ecosystem in a short period of time. And, we are writing unit tests there. That was fun and challenging at the same time😊.

Additionally, I will not forget my team here. The best team I've ever worked with. They are very supportive and helpful. Our bond is extra ordinary. I learned a lot from them. I always miss them so much!😢.

Software Developer (Freelance)

June 2021 - November 2022

I started freelancing when I was in 3rd year college (BSc in Computer Science). I've worked mostly with college students to build their thesis software requirement. Some of them are small business owners.

Typically, the projects are information management systems, inventory systems, and e-commerce, etc. But there were also very unique ones such as, image processing/machine learning mobile app, and a real-time attendance system using RFID.

I was the only one who write the backend and frontend code😎. And guess what, I deployed it myself. I was able to learn a lot of things from this experience. I learned how to communicate with clients, how to manage my time, how to write clean code, how to deploy a project, and more.
